It may seem as if I’ve dropped off the face of the earth. I haven’t blogged in over a month. To people who know me, they will think it is unbelievable that I have nothing to say for an entire month. However, that isn’t the case. There has been a lot of “behind the scenes” work being done.
First I’d like to mention that I will be hosting two classes on tea this summer at the Ross Community Center. Here is a link to their webpage: http://www.ross.pa.us/administration/communectr.htm and here is a link to the PDF brochure outlining their summer classes: http://www.ross.pa.us/parkrec/Programs/Spring-Summer%202010%20Newsletter.pdf . We can be found on lucky page number 13. Our first class is this Sunday, June 13 (it must be our lucky number) from 2pm till 4pm. Our topic is Iced Tea and it is just in time for National Iced Tea Day, which ironically is today.
Second, we’ve been approached by two very big venues to do some work with them. We are still hammering out details, but I am excited. Anytime I get to talk tea with others always makes me feel happy.
Third, and lastly, sooner than later there is going to be a change on this website. I am going to be introducing a new member of my team. This nameless, faceless person is going to have a blog on here, like mine. However, she (I’ll give away that it is a girl) is going to be demonstrating how you can cook with tea. I am so excited for this portion of my site that I can hardly stand it. We are going to break down recipes and show you how to use tea like a spice or an add in. We are taking some old favorites and tweaking them and we are making new recipes. This interactive portion of the site is going to be INCREDIBLY AWESOME. I promise!
Stay tuned with us…. because even in times of quiet, we are still innovating.
