Today I awoke to a rainy, cooler day than yesterday. It is almost August and here in Pittsburgh, the weather has been cooler, much cooler than normal. I am mourning the loss of hot summer weather, trips to the pool, and the plethora of tomatoes that usually by this time is invading my kitchen. But as I’ve learned over the years, every cloud has a silver lining. For me, cooler, rainier summers mean more hot tea for me. I am really digging my daily cup of Tulsi tea, followed by my hot cup of Moroccan Mint, followed by a cup of Darjeeling, followed by several cups of Sleepyhead Tea. Although this is not my ritual every day, it has been over the past month or so. Each of these teas not only bring the antioxidants, vitamins and minerals to my body that I need, but they are also filling the “warm” void that this summer has left me craving. On your next rainy day, pour yourself a cuppa (or several) and enjoy the sounds and tastes of the day!
Bee Well. Drink Tupelo Honey Teas.
