BRITSBURGH – CELEBRATING BRITAIN IN PITTSBURGH

BRITSBURGH – CELEBRATING BRITAIN IN PITTSBURGH

If it were 1776 many of us would have been grabbing our muskets to join the militia. Thankfully it is 240 years later and that hatchet is long buried. So when we announce the British are coming, it means A BIG PARTY!
Britsburgh is a British American Festival to celebrate British Heritage with a Pittsburgh flair.

Tupelo Honey Teas is very excited to be teaming up with Britsburgh in two ways, first as a tea shop and second as a Millvale business.  Here are some of the events we are hosting:

Of course you can bring your own project to work on. Tea and refreshments will be available for purchase. RSVP’s emailed to danielle@tupelohoneyteas.com

Cockney Rhyming Lesson
Friday, September 9th

Cockney Rhyming started in the pubs in London to keep the police out of personal business. A complex language using rhyming words for the real ones, this class will keep you entertained while giving you a new secret language to use with your friends.

Taught by Pittsburgh resident and native Londoner, Deb Wallman, we promise you a cow’s calf (laugh)!  Tea drinks will be served. RSVP’s emailed to danielle@tupelohoneyteas.com
